Larry Kunin
Larry Kunin of Morris, Manning & Martin, LLP, is now President of the Florida Bar Association’s Out-of-State Practitioner Division. He was sworn in for a one-year term on June 17 during the Bar’s annual convention in Orlando, Florida.
The Out-of-State Division represents the interests of more than 14,000 Florida Bar members who reside in other states. A significant number of those attorneys have officially joined the division by choosing membership on their annual statements. All non-Florida residents are encouraged to affirmatively select OOSD membership.
Kunin, who just finished a term as president-elect of the division, has been a Florida Bar member since 1995. He also teaches Continuing Legal Education (CLE) classes for the organization.
Kunin is a partner in Morris, Manning & Martin’s Litigation practice, and also chairs the firm’s Data Security and Breach group. He launched the Data Security practice in 2015 to address the many legal and regulatory issues companies face related to online privacy.
Based in Atlanta, Kunin concentrates in commercial, technology and intellectual property litigation and consultation, including issues related to software performance, technology implementation, trade secrets, trademarks and copyrights, as well as general commercial and business disputes, including post-M&A indemnification disputes. He is also available to serve as a special master or mediator in disputes involving technology or e-discovery.
Kunin practiced corporate litigation in Miami before joining MMM. He gained computer and technology experience as a computer programmer and analyst for The Miami Herald from 1982 to 1986.
