Publicist receives 2019 PR Wizard Award from prominent industry organization

BoardroomPR is proud to announce that firm Vice President Eric Kalis received a prestigious recognition from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Greater Fort Lauderdale Chapter. Kalis earned a 2019 PR Wizard Award in the “New Professional” category during the organization’s annual event on Dec. 10 in Fort Lauderdale.

Each year, PRSA honors publicists, agencies, in-house marketing departments and journalists for their standout work and the examples they set for colleagues and peers. BoardroomPR is a past “Top Agency” honoree.

“We are thrilled that Eric was recognized by PRSA for his hard work and impact on our agency,” said Julie Talenfeld, President/CEO of BoardroomPR. “While he is fairly new to PR, he came to the agency after a lengthy career in journalism. Kalis joined BoardroomPR in November 2015, following more than decade as a business reporter and editor at leading publications including the Daily Business Review, Miami Today and The Real Deal. He works with clients in real estate, banking, law and other industries.

Kalis graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications.
