Rafael Brazon-Di Fatta
Rafael Brazon-Di Fatta, senior account executive at Beber Silverstein Group (BSG), will receive the inaugural Communicator to Watch Award at the 2018 Ev Clay/PRSA Miami Chapter Endowment Fund Luncheon on Sept. 21.
The award recognizes a communications professional in South Florida who has made an extraordinary contribution to their organization and the communications community and profession as a whole through their work and service.
“We are incredibly lucky to have Rafael on our team,” said Christine Bucan, executive vice president at BSG. “Not only is he the consummate PR professional, winning top-tier press coverage for our clients, he truly understands what it means to give back to the community by volunteering and serving as a leader and mentor.”
At BSG, Brazon-Di Fatta manages several accounts, including Barry University, Goodwill of South Florida, the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, the Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida and Miami International University of Art & Design, among others. A native of Venezuela, who completed high school and university in the U.S., he is highly praised for his ability to switch seamlessly between English and Spanish languages.
He has proven his commitment to giving back to his profession by offering guidance to upcoming professionals and recruiting students for internship opportunities. When he is not in the office, Brazon-Di Fatta can be found volunteering with the Rotary Club of Miami Brickell, to which he is the current president-elect; or presenting about PR, marketing, and social media in various seminars around South Florida.
