The Florida Peninsula Insurance family of companies is pleased to announce Cindy Murphy has been promoted to Vice President of Finance and will join the company’s executive management team. She previously served as the Corporate Controller and was responsible for the financial accounting and reporting for Florida Peninsula and all its affiliated companies.

For more than 25 years, Ms. Murphy has worked as a financial professional in executive management positions where she has been responsible for all aspects of corporate finance, accounting, and reporting functions. She has dedicated the past 15 years to the Florida property and casualty insurance market as Florida Peninsula’s Corporate Controller. In this role, she managed the company’s finance and accounting team of 15 including three additional CPAs.

Additionally, she has overseen the planning and performance management, investments, treasury, and regulatory reporting for all the Florida Peninsula family of companies.

Ms. Murphy earned a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Aurora University in Aurora, IL and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA). As a leader in the financial industry, she is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Florida Institute of CPAs and the Illinois CPA Society. She also holds the designation of CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accountant).
