The Jewish Women’s Foundation of the Greater Palm Beaches (JWF) – a non-profit whose mission is to advance the status of women and girls in the US and Israel through strategic grantmaking, advocacy and education, and leadership development programs to create long lasting change - announces the addition of 5 new members to its Board of Directors. The new board members include: Suzanne Holmes, Penny Miller, Denise Silverman, Caryn Stevens-Hare and Helene Weingarten.
The elected members are all esteemed female leaders, selected to serve alongside an already impressive list of women who serve on the Board, ready to guide JWF into success in 2020-2021. Assuming the role of Board Chair is Deena Lockman who joined the board in 2018, served as Secretary of the Board and then became Chair Elect last year before becoming Chair this year. Kristen Sacks who joined the Board in 2014 was named Vice-Chair and Laurie Winston who joined in 2018 will serve as the new Board Secretary.
“We are delighted to welcome the new members to our Board and to elect three phenomenal women to new Board positions,” said JWF CEO Jennifer Kryshka. “I know the combined expertise of all of the dynamic and inspiring women who serve on the board will bring our organization to the next level as we begin fundraising, event planning and programming for the upcoming year.”
