Brent Reitman, a partner with Liberman Cabrera Thompson & Reitman, PLLC (LCTR), was named Co-Chair of the Trial Lawyers Section of the Broward County Bar Association (BCBA). He has been actively involved with the BCBA for several years, previously serving as President and Executive Committee member of the Young Lawyer’s Section.

Reitman is one of the founding attorneys of LCTR and one a select few who is Board Certified in both Civil and Criminal Trial Law by The Florida Bar. Before the founding of LCTR, he spent six years at a prominent South Florida law firm where he handled personal injury, wrongful death and medical negligence cases. Prior, he was a prosecutor at the Office of the State Attorney for the 17th Judicial Circuit.

Actively involved in the legal community, Reitman serves on the Board of Governors for The Florida Bar’s Young Lawyers Division, as one of four seats representing the 17th Circuit. Additionally, he is the President-Elect for the Fort Lauderdale Chapter of the American Board of Trail Advocates (ABOTA) and he serves on the Boards for the B’nai B’rith Justice Unit, the Young Leadership Division of the Jewish Federation of Broward County, and the National Alliance for Mental Illness (NAMI).

Reitman is rated AV-Preeminent by Martindale-Hubbell and has been named on the Florida Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” list consecutively since 2016. Recently, he was selected to the South Florida Legal Guide’s 2020 list of Top Up Comer Lawyers under age 40.

Reitman is admitted to practice in all Florida state courts, the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and in the District of Columbia. He earned his juris doctor from Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law.
