David C. Miller, Esq.,
David C. Miller, Esq., of Bryant Miller Olive P.A. (BMO) was recently recognized in the 2020 edition of Florida Trend’s Florida Legal Elite™. The list of 1,071 honorees includes attorneys in private practice as well as top government and nonprofit attorneys.
For the 17th year, Florida Legal Elite has presented its prestigious roster of attorneys chosen for recognition by their peers. The honorees exemplify a standard of excellence in their profession and have garnered the respect and esteem of their colleagues.
Miller, a shareholder with BMO, is an attorney with the Labor and Employment Law Group in the firm’s Miami office. He has previously been recognized in the 2019 and 2016 editions of Florida Trend’s Florida Legal Elite.
“David continues to exemplify excellence in the legal field, and being named to Florida Trend’s Florida Legal Elite for the third time reflects the respect he has earned from his peers. He is an asset to BMO, and we are pleased that he has once again been included in this esteemed roster of attorneys,” said BMO Managing Shareholder Grace Dunlap.
Voting for this year’s Legal Elite attorneys began in October 2019, when Florida Trend invited all in-state members of The Florida Bar to participate. Lawyers were asked to name attorneys whom they hold in the highest regard or would recommend to others. The ballots were processed, checked and tabulated by an outside vendor. Attorneys were given a score based on the number of votes received, with more weight given to votes from outside their respective firms. Only lawyers currently licensed and practicing in Florida were eligible for selection.
The list of top vote-getters was further examined using membership status and histories provided by The Florida Bar. A panel of previous Legal Elite winners, representing different practice areas in cities across the state, reviewed the selection process and list of finalists.
The resulting lists represent fewer than 1.3% of the active Florida Bar members who practice in Florida.
“The Florida Bar is committed to connecting both our members and the public with the legal resources needed to enhance their practices, businesses and daily lives, while also supporting each lawyer’s health and wellness. With so many talented lawyers in our state, Florida Trend’s Legal Elite continues to provide a valuable, credible resource of attorneys evaluated by their peers and representing many types and sizes of practices,” said The Florida Bar President Dori Foster-Morales.
Added Publisher David Denor: “Now in its 17th year, the Florida Legal Elite, published in Florida Trend's July issue, provides its 270,000 readers with a peer-reviewed resource listing of the best lawyers in the state.”
