Shutts & Bowen LLP announced today that Fort Lauderdale partner Amy Wessel has become Board Certified in Appellate Practice by The Florida Bar.

Board certification is the highest level of evaluation by The Florida Bar of the competence and experience of its attorneys in various practice areas. Wessel joins a prestigious group of attorneys, as only 205 out of more than 100,000 licensed attorneys in Florida are Board Certified in Appellate Practice.

Wessel represents clients in a wide range of appellate and litigation matters involving commercial disputes, business torts and real-property litigation.

She received her Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, and her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Florida.
