House of Hope, a leading non-profit provider of substance abuse and mental illness programming in South Florida, has been awarded a $20,000 COVID-19 Response Grant from the Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties, which strives to support and partner with exceptional nonprofit organizations that address the most pressing needs and bring positive change to communities.

Like most non-profit organizations, House of Hope has been hit hard by COVID-19. The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties’ COVID-19 Respond Fund will help House of Hope provide basic necessities to its residents as well as help with the anticipated budget deficit.

“We are so thankful for the generosity of The Community Foundation for Palm Beach and Martin Counties during this unprecedented time of need,” said Sue Glasscock, House of Hope CEO. “Our clients are a vulnerable population during this pandemic and with this donation we will be able to ensure that they stay on track with their treatment and continue on their journey to recovery.”
