Rabbi Erica Rosenkranz

MorseLife Health System, a leading senior community and health care provider in West Palm Beach, has announced the appointment of Rabbi Erica Rosenkranz as director of community engagement. In her new role, Rosenkranz will promote community engagement which will parallel MorseLife’s work to support “NOW for Holocaust Survivors,” an initiative that was launched to provide a lifeline of services to impoverished Holocaust Survivors in Palm Beach County. Rosenkranz’s position is funded in part through a generous grant from The Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA).

In collaboration with NEXT GENERATIONS, Rosenkranz will work in the community to identify Holocaust Survivors and their families and engage new volunteers and Survivors through community events and programs. Rosenkranz’s previous position as director of community planning at Jewish Federation of the Palm Beaches included supervision of the volunteer and teen programs, and development of innovative programs to increase engagement.

“Erica’s engaging personality and work throughout the Jewish community make her a natural fit for this new role,” said Keith Myers, President and CEO, MorseLife Health System. “Many Survivors are reluctant to come forward for help, but with Erica’s rabbinical background and experience at the grassroots level, she is well-prepared to foster strong community relationships that will help us to meet Survivor’s unique needs.”

Prior to Rosenkranz’s work with Jewish Federation of the Palm Beaches she was a young family Rabbi at B’nai Torah Congregation in Boca Raton where she was involved in all aspects of programs for parents and families. Earlier in her career she served as campus rabbi of Hillel of Broward and Palm Beach.
