Simeon Brier
Cozen O’Connor announced that Miami and West Palm Beach attorney Simeon Brier was appointed to serve on the City of Parkland Community Advisory Board.
The Community Advisory Board discusses matters such as projects related to education in the city, cultural programs, and activities that are assigned to it from the City Commission. After receiving its assignments from the commission, the board makes recommendations about how to complete various projects.
“I’m honored to serve on the Community Advisory Board and give back to my community in this way,” said Brier. “My family and I love living in Parkland and I’ll do whatever I can to create improvements and opportunities for our residents.”
Brier grew up in Parkland, Fla. and remains a current resident of the community with his wife and children. With the unfortunate shooting in Parkland in 2018, he has made a larger commitment to be involved in the city’s effort to keep its residents safe.
Brier focuses his practice in the areas of complex business litigation and dispute resolution. His litigation practice has a practical emphasis on corporate disputes and employment matters at both the state and federal court levels. He also has experience in the areas of employment law, transactional corporate matters, corporate governance, real estate litigation, construction and construction defect litigation, municipal/public law, financial services litigation, intellectual property litigation, and product liability matters.
