Unger serves as Co-Chair of Membership and Networking, as well as Board Secretary.
The FPA of Miami is the regional chapter of the Financial Planning Association (FPA®), the national leadership and advocacy organization representing the financial planning community and CFP® professionals. The chapter focuses on the advancement of knowledge in financial planning, supporting programs and projects that help the public learn the benefits of financial planning. The FPA of Miami seeks to elevate the profession that transform lives through the power of financial planning, and to provide value to its members and the community by upholding the highest ethical standards of integrity, and service.
At Coral Gables Trust Company, Unger works alongside the investment committee in evaluating and recommending optimum asset allocations for clients and in maintaining and rebalancing client portfolios. He has extensive experience in providing comprehensive financial planning and investment management for high-net-worth individuals, retirement plan sponsors, and retirement plan participants. A CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, Unger holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology with a double minor in economics and business administration from the University of Miami.
