American Advertising Federation Greater Fort Lauderdale & The Palm Beaches Announces New Board Members

AAF (American Advertising Federation) Greater Fort Lauderdale & The Palm Beaches, the local chapter of the national advertising group AAF, today installed a new board. The new board members were announced at the “A Deep Dive on Curiosity” luncheon at the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County in Lake Worth.

Serving the interests of those in the advertising community, the group encourages those in their creative community to meet, coordinate, and engage in sharing ideas and best practices to foster learning and encourage local advertising and marketing students.

The new board members are:

  • President - Melissa Pacheco, Partner/Executive Recruiter, Chameleon Collective
  • Vice President - Jacob Edenfield, Associate Creative Director, Starmark
  • Treasurer - Crystal Workman, Billing Analyst, Zimmerman Advertising
  • Programs Chair - Kathleen Heston, VP, Account Director, B2B, Starmark
  • Communications Chair - Fred Fermin, Independent Graphic Design Professional
  • Palm Beaches Co-Chairs - Grazie Prokopetz, Design and Digital Communications Coordinator, Cultural Council of Palm Beach County; and Vanessa Doll, Director of Projects and Client Services at Freshmade
  • PR Co-Chairs - Durée Ross, President, Durée & Company; and Samantha Mozdzierz, Account Manager, Durée & Company
  • Diversity and Inclusion Chair - Luis Alexander, Diversity Consultant and Graphic Design Student

The Advertising Federation of Greater Fort Lauderdale was established in 1957. It is the local branch of the national group, the American Advertising Federation (AAF). In 2016, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Advertising Federation teamed up with the Advertising Federation of The Palm Beaches to form AAF Greater Fort Lauderdale & The Palm Beaches.
