Mendoza is internationally known in the soccer community and played professionally in Venezuela

South Florida’s premier youth soccer club Weston FC recently announced that Luis Mendoza has been chosen as the Boys Technical Director. Mendoza was hand selected after an extensive international search to find the best fit for the club.
Mendoza will have responsibility of managing and overseeing the entire boys’ program, including both the Premier and Academy teams.
“Soccer is my passion and while playing professionally was amazing, being a coach is even better,” said Mendoza. “To have the ability to share my skills and what I have learned along the way with these young players, who are ultimately the future of this sport, is an honor.”
Mendoza was most recently the director of the nationally acclaimed TSF Academy in New Jersey for the past ten years and the Director of the Real Madrid Select Program. He also played professionally in Venezuela for several years. He holds a USSF A license and has been a US Soccer scout for many years.

In addition to his excellence on the field and in directing high-level youth soccer clubs, Mendoza serves as a role model for his players and will place the highest priority on the Club, adhering to its mission that Integrity and Dedication brings Success.
“Keeping our club at the highest caliber is our priority and having world-class coaches is an important part of that equation,” said Steve Ziegler, president of WestonFC. “Luis is nationally acclaimed and can provide the best technical guidance for our players, while also being a role model and mentor.”
