BankUnited announced the hiring of Lisa Anderson as senior vice president, commercial banking team lead in Fort Lauderdale.

With nearly three decades of experience, Anderson will be responsible for providing credit and cash management solutions to corporate clients in South Florida with revenues between $10 million and $100 million. She joins BankUnited from JPMorgan Chase in Fort Lauderdale, where she served most recently as executive director and South Florida market executive in the middle market bankinggroup, with a focus on Broward County.

The Coral Springs resident actively serves the community as first vice chair of the Urban League of Broward County and chair of its board relations and investment committees; past chair of the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance Leadership Council, as well as a member of its executive committee and board of directors; and board member of Junior Achievement of South Florida. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami.
