Heather Zatik, Karen Roth and Shane Sweet

Centennial Bank, South Florida Market – a customer-focused community bank servicing the tri-county region of Southeast Florida - is pleased to announce three senior-level promotions in Broward County. Market president, Heather Zatik, will manage the daily operations for the 13 county locations, with emphasis on market loan growth, customer relationships, and retail lending, while Senior Commercial Lenders Karen Roth and Shane Sweet will focus on commercial real estate and commercial & industrial (C&I) lending.

“The upward movement of our Broward team mirrors Centennial Bank’s ongoing momentum in the South Florida market following our acquisition of Stonegate Bank in late 2018,” said Southeast Florida Division President David Druey. “These promotions signify our commitment to continued expansion in South Florida and we look forward to doubling down on C&I lending in the coming market cycle.”

Zatik was previously relationship manager at Stonegate Bank prior to its acquisition by Centennial Bank. She began her 13-year career in banking at Community Bank of Broward and held positions as a commercial credit analyst, branch sales manager, and commercial loan officer before her current role. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Florida and received a post-graduate banking degree from the Florida Bankers Association.

Roth formerly served as portfolio manager at Stonegate Bank before her current position. In her career, she was also a senior credit analyst at Regent Bank and commercial real estate lender for Barnett Bank and BankUnited. She received her undergraduate from Florida Southern College and her Master of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University.

Sweet was vice president for Iberia Bank, BankUnited, and Colonial Bank before his present role. He has nearly 20 years of experience as a commercial real estate banker with almost 14 years as vice president. Sweet received his bachelor’s degree in multinational business from Florida State University and Master of Science in finance from Florida Atlantic University.
