Networking brings collaboration and subcontractor job opportunities
Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Florida East Coast Chapter, East Florida’s voice of commercial construction, held its spring GC Showcase, where general contractors and suppliers exhibited, providing opportunities for new business development and relationship building.
Held on April 3, 2019, the annual event brought together over 1,000 general contractors, specialty contractors, suppliers and associates to discuss the progress of their upcoming projects. The incredible Charles F. Dodge City Center in Pembroke Pines was home to this year’s showcase, which was built by Stiles Construction, an ABC FEC member in attendance at the event.
“Every year, this event exceeds our expectations,” said Peter Dyga, president and CEO of ABC’s Florida East Coast Chapter. “South Florida’s construction industry is stronger than ever, which has caused our attendance of both in and out of state companies to grow tremendously. Our goal is to bring construction professionals together to build new relationships and businesses.”
The Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Florida East Coast Chapter serves Brevard County to the Keys, offering networking, education and government affairs to further the profession and maintain competitive and free markets.
