Brent Reitman, partner with Liberman Cabrera Thompson & Reitman, PLLC (LCTR) has been elected to the Board of Governors for The Florida Bar’s Young Lawyers Division. Reitman is one of four seats representing the 17th Circuit. The Young Lawyers Division has more than 26,000 members, all under the age of 36. Reitman is also the current president of the Young Lawyer’s Section of the Broward County Bar Association.

“I’m honored to sit on the Board of Governors, and to collaborate with my colleagues to help the Division in its mission to engage young lawyers as we all pursue our careers in law,” said Reitman.

Reitman is one of the founding attorneys of LCTR, a new firm focused on providing outstanding representation for medical malpractice and personal injury clients who endure negligence at the hands of a healthcare professional or provider.

“We are proud that Brent has been elected to the Board of Governors and know he will do wonderful work in this leadership role,” said Ivan Cabrera, partner at LCTR. “His dedication to the practice of law is unmatched, and the respect he generates among other young attorneys is wide-spread and well-deserved.”

Before the founding of LCTR, Reitman spent six years at Krupnick Campbell, where he handled personal injury, wrongful death, and medical negligence cases. Prior, he was a prosecutor at the Office of the State Attorney for the 17th Judicial Circuit where he was responsible for thousands of criminal convictions and conducted scores of jury trials, and subsequently earned Board Certification from The Florida Bar.
