Leasing Agent Cushman & Wakefield Negotiated a new 14,000-SF Lease with Buchanan Ingersoll Rooney, P.C.

National law firm Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, P.C. has signed a 14,000-square-foot lease at One Biscayne Tower in downtown Miami, where the ownership, advised by L&B Realty Advisors, recently launched a $10 million renovation campaign.

The Cushman & Wakefield team of Vice Chairman Brian Gale, Managing Director Andrew Trench, Managing Director Ryan Holtzman, Director Jeannette Mendoza and Associate Lena Weeks represented L&B in the lease negotiations.

“We are pleased to welcome Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney to the building, adding another prestigious tenant to our roster at One Biscayne Tower,” said Gale. “We expect to announce additional leases in the near future as the highly anticipated renovations are transforming this property and creating a buzz in downtown Miami for prospects.”

One Biscayne Tower is a 691,000-square-foot, Class A office tower situated at 2 S. Biscayne Blvd., in the heart of Miami’s Central Business District. The 39-story, LEED-certified building features unobstructed water views, abundant retail amenities, onsite banking, 24-hour security and easy access to and from transit.

The $10 million renovation will modernize and update the building’s main entrance, lobby and interior common areas with new lighting and seating, as well as both aesthetic and structural improvements, and the addition of a new conference center. The renovations, designed by Insight Designs, will also incorporate advanced technological features, including an LED wall that can be used to display news and information as well as appealing visuals. Spec suites are currently available for tenants, offering brand new high-end finishes for immediate occupancy.

Buchanan will relocate its Miami office from nearby Miami Tower, at 100 SE Second St., and plans to begin occupying the One Biscayne Tower space in April 2019. The law firm will join such notable tenants as Zarco Law, Nelson Mullins, Stantec, CMA GGM, Foley Lardner and Jackson Lewis.
