Laura Ganoza
Foley & Lardner, LLP is pleased to announce that Laura Ganoza has been appointed chair of the litigation practice in the firm’s Miami office. As practice chair, Ganoza will oversee all phases of the litigation practice within the Miami office with principal focus on associate and senior counsel development including training and mentoring.
An established litigator, Ganoza handles a variety of complex commercial and intellectual property litigation matters for her clients, including cross border disputes, trade secret and non-compete actions, as well as a variety of trademark, copyright and patent infringement matters. In addition to enforcing and litigating her client’s valuable rights, Ganoza manages trademark and copyright portfolios and regularly advises clients on how to obtain, maintain and protect intellectual property rights both domestically and internationally.
She is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution; IP Litigation; Trademark, Copyright & Advertising; and Latin America Practices, and the Manufacturing Industry Team.
With a particular niche representing clients in the Fashion industry, Ganoza was instrumental in developing Foley’sCustom-Made Counseling for the Fashion Industry, which offers a full range of legal services to the fashion, beauty and apparel industries.

Ganoza currently serves as Regional Director for the South Florida chapter of theFashion Group International (FGI),a global, non-profit, professional organization with 5,000 members in the fashion industry includingapparel, accessories, beauty and home.
Ganoza earned her Juris Doctorate degree with honors from New York University, and her Bachelor of Arts degree with high honors from the University of Florida. She is admitted to practice law in Florida and New York and is a member of the Dade County Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association, the New York Bar Association, and The International Trademark Association.
