Sapoznik Insurance, the largest employee benefits agency and one of the largest independently owned agencies in South Florida, is pleased to welcome Lowell Richard, a 30-year veteran of the insurance industry, as the company’s benefits consultant. Creating this new role will allow Sapoznik to enhance current programs, develop new initiatives and continue to be a leader in servicing clients.

An expert in the industry, Richard started his insurance career in 1986 and specializes in creating comprehensive employee benefits programs, as well as individual insurance programs. Most recently, he served as Vice President of The Maslow Group, Inc. and Contracted General Agency. Working for both carriers and agencies, Richard brings his wealth of knowledge to Sapoznik and its clients.

Richard is a multiple recipient of the National Sales Achievement Award from the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA). He is a registered health underwriter and is certified by the State of Florida as a continuing education instructor.

Born and raised in Queens, New York Richard moved to South Florida in 1975. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Florida in Tampa, and Master of Fine Arts from the California Institute of the Arts in Valencia, California.

Married for 29 years, Richard and his wife have two children. They reside in Coral Springs, Florida.
