Miami-based litigation boutique Podhurst Orseck announces Dayron Silverio has joined the firm as an associate. Podhurst Orseck has built its reputation for its highly specialized practice in complex litigation, class action, appellate and aviation matters. Silverio’s practice will focus primarily on complex commercial litigation, aviation litigation, product liability and wrongful death litigation.

Prior to joining Podhurst Orseck, Silverio served as a law clerk for the Honorable Adalberto J. Jordan in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. His litigation experience includes serving as Assistant County Attorney in the Miami-Dade County Attorney’s Office where he litigated in administrative, state and federal civil proceedings. He also previously clerked for the Honorable Mark E. Walker in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida.

Silverio earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Chicago Law School where he graduated with honors. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree, summa cum laude, from Florida State University.

While in law school, he served as a student attorney for the University of Chicago Law School’s Federal Criminal Justice Clinic defending clients charged with criminal violations of federal law. He also served as a summer associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in New York and D.C., and Stearns Weaver Miller Weissler Alhadeff & Sitterson, P.A. in Miami.

He is fluent in English and Spanish.
