IBERIABANK,a 130-year-old subsidiary of IBERIABANK Corporation, is pleased to announce Michelle Hedges has joined the company as vice president, human resources manager for the Southeast Florida market. Hedges, who has 30 years of financial industry experience, will be responsible for providing comprehensive human resources guidance and support.
Hedges joins IBERIABANK following a 25 year career as chief talent and knowledge officer with Power Financial Credit Union. “We are thrilled with the addition of Michelle to our team. She has tremendous experience leading HR efforts and brings a wealth of knowledge to our company,” said Mike Pelletier, EVP, chief human resources officer for IBERIABANK.
Hedges earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Florida International University. An active member of the community, she is currently a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce’s human resources committee. She actively supports several organizations including the Homestead Air Reserve Base, the South Florida Human Trafficking Task Force through the Homestead Police Department, and the Community Blood Center. She was recently honored by South Florida Business & Wealth Magazine with the 2017 Excellence in HR Award.
