Chief Operating Officer is a newly created position to help the organization grow BNI Miami-Dade networking chapters and membership

Stay Involved, Inc., the parent company of the Miami-Dade Region of Business Network International (BNI), announced that Peter Haines has joined as Chief Operating Officer. BNI Miami-Dade was recently named No. 1 region in the United States based on its tremendous growth, performance and member retention.

“Over the past 17 years, we have developed a reputation for helping businesses of all types build relationships and new business through referrals,” said Jeff Stay, the CEO of Stay Involved. “We are pleased to have an experienced executive with Peter’s credentials join our thriving organization.”

BNI Miami-Dade currently has 36 chapters and 1,100 members who all meet weekly to share leads and learn more about marketing their businesses. Haines will be responsible to assist in running day to day operations of the two companies as well as growing their networking chapters and membership.

Haines’ career spans more than 35 years as CEO and COO of different companies as well as a professional advisor to more than 50 emerging companies. Most recently, he was CEO of Horizon Growth Advisors, a business consulting firm focusing on operational improvement for a wide range of clients.

Haines is a frequent lecturer and speaker and has held several leadership positions in respected organizations. He is the former chairman of the MIT Enterprise Forum of South Florida, former member of the Board of Trustees of the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association (SGMA) and a past board member of the World Presidents Organization (WPO)/Fort Lauderdale Chapter.
