The Miami Finance Forum, South Florida’s leading professional finance industry networking organization, announces that development, strategic planning, event planning and communications executive Etain Elisabeth Connor has been named the organization’s Executive Director.

“Etain Connor is an exceptionally talented executive with a track record of success in South Florida in community engagement, strategic partnerships as well as membership development and retention,” said Gregory M. Santín, Chairman of the Miami Finance Forum and Senior Banker at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. “We welcome her ideas and contributions as we take the Miami Finance Forum to the next level.”

Connor owned High Tide Initiatives in Miami, a consulting firm that provided strategic plans, marketing and social programs aimed at client engagement, collaborations and partnerships. Prior to that, she was associated with several of South Florida’s most distinguished non-profit organizations. She was Development Officer with the Cleveland Orchestra Miami; Development Director with Florida International University’s Art Museum; Development Officer at Kristi House and Marketing Coordinator for the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts.

Involved in the community, Etain is a Board Member of the MIA Animation & Gaming Conference and the Coming Out Cuba Foundation. She is a former Chair and Board Member of the Arts & Business Council of Miami. Etain holds an International Masters in Business Administration from Florida International University and a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Humanities from Georgetown University.
