American Express OPEN, the small business division of the financial services company, recently named Danielle Gosthe, managing director of Red Carrot, its 2016 On the Rise Government Contractor of the Year for outstanding success in government contracting. 

Red Carrot, a Hispanic woman-owned small business based in Miami, is a full service advertising agency built on integrated data, analytics, and clever creative. Over 80% of Red Carrot’s revenue is currently generated through government contracts from clients including the Army National Guard and the Department of Veteran Affairs.

By truly understanding its clients’ culture, business practices and opportunity areas, Red Carrot has experienced tremendous growth though government contracting over the past year, with 2016 revenue jumping 267% from 2015. The company’s success has also led to hiring 11 full time employees and soon to be opening new offices in Washington D.C.
