Twilight Technology and Now Electronics Acquire Semiconductor Technology

ANAHEIM, Calif. & HUNTINGTON, N.Y. & STUART, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Twilight Technology and Now Electronics announced the Asset purchase of Semiconductor Technology, Inc. (STI).

The assets sold include millions of semiconductor die, which are comprised of NPN & PNP High Voltage Transistors, High Voltage Darlington Transistors, High Voltage N-Channel Enhancement Mode Mosfets and one of the most comprehensive lines of Dual Differential Transistors in the industry. Also included in the asset purchase are millions of inventoried devices across 1590 different devices types and part numbers. The asset purchase also includes all of STI’s production and test equipment, branding and IP. The terms of the sale were not disclosed.

STI is a well-established brand, serving the industrial, telecommunications, medical, energy, aerospace and military discrete semiconductor markets since 1968. STI has developed a customer base of several hundred customers and services hundreds of custom customer source control drawing (SCD’s) devices.

Twilight Technology and Now Electronics have formed a new company “Twilight Now, LLC,” which will do business as (dba) STI. All former STI part numbers and Source Control Drawings (SCD’s) are available for purchase. Twilight Technology will manufacture, test, provide engineering support, administration and digital marketing. Now Electronics will manage marketing and sales for Twilight Now, LLC (dba STI).

Located in Anaheim, California, and Huntington, New York, Twilight Now, LLC will be doing business as STI. The company has acquired the assets of Semiconductor Technology, Inc. (STI) of Stuart, Florida, and will manufacture and support STI’s customer base with products. STI has been known as a leader in the Discrete Semiconductor business since 1968.

A new Division, TT Semiconductor, was formed in 2010 to focus on and service the custom High-Temperature, Harsh Environment Semiconductor marketplace.
