Catherine Steiner-Adair Ed.D., the renowned clinical psychologist and award-winning author of The Big Disconnect: Protecting Childhood and Family Relationships in the Digital Age, was a visiting speakerat Palmer Trinity School on Thursday, January 19.  During the day, Dr. Steiner-Adair addressed students and faculty, followed by an in-depth discussion with more than 200 parents later that evening.

She spoke on the benefits of technology, as well as how to reduce the risks technology presents to children at every stage of development.

“It was a great honor to have Dr. Steiner-Adair as our guest. We were pleased with the number of Palmer Trinity families that were able to benefit from her frank advice as a gifted counselor and scholar,” stated Patrick Roberts, Palmer Trinity, Head of School.

Dr. Steiner-Adair has served as a consultant to more than 500 schools in the U.S. and abroad, and has spoken at conferences around the globe. She assists schools in meeting the challenge of educating the students of today as global citizens.
