Executive Women of the Palm Beaches (EWPB) is excited to welcome two new Emerging Leaders and four new Executive Members to its membership of leading female executive professionals. New leaders and members are welcomed to EWPB based upon their business accomplishments, charitable involvements and community impact.
Emerging Leader Leslie Arsenault Metz is an Associate Attorney with Richman Greer, where she does legal research, drafting memoranda and pleadings, and client communication. Prior to Richman Greer, she was a Staff Attorney/Trial Court Law Clerk for the 15th Judicial Circuit of Florida. Her responsibilities included conducting legal research to assist judges in rendering rulings and drafting opinions. In addition to her work, Metz serves as president of the Palm Beach County Gator Club, which holds community events to raise funds for scholarship awards to high school students. She also volunteers for Habitat for Humanity as a silent auction chair.
Emerging Leader Julia Lembcke, CFP, CLU, ChFC is the Owner/President of URS Advisory & URS Insurance. She is a Certified Financial Planner and Insurance Specialist, providing comprehensive wealth management plans to clients and insurance solutions to retirees. Lembcke graduated in 2009 from the University of Florida with a B.S. in Marketing.
Executive Member Christine Carrels is the Vice President of Marketing at the Incapital in Boca Raton. She has been a Vice President of Marketing since 2007, most recently at the Marine Bank in Springfield, Illinois. Carrels creates and executes comprehensive plans for marketing wholesale investments to banks, brokers, municipalities and financial advisors. She gives back to her community by volunteering as a Loaned Executive with United Way, Habitat for Humanity, and the American Diabetes Association. Carrels has a B.S. in News-Editorial Journalism from the University of Illinois.
Executive Member Michelle Klinedinst is the CEO and Founder of Viamar Health in West Palm Beach. She has been in the behavioral health and substance abuse field since 1981, including serving as CEO at the Crossroads Center in Antigua, West Indies. She has certifications and associations in the following areas: Certified Addictions Counselor, Certified Eating Disorders Specialist, International Eating Disorders Association and International Association ofEating Disorders. Klinedinst serves as board member with the Palm Beach Institute and A New Journey in Santa Monica, CA. She earned her Masters of Science in Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College, Philadelphia.
Executive Member Lisa Commander has been a Controller with Florida Power and Light since 2015, but has been working in the financial field since 2008. Commander has volunteered for several years with a variety of organizations, including MOPS, OneBlood, Atlanta Children’s Shelter, Brookhaven Boys & Girls Club, and Habitat for Humanity. Commander earned her Masters of Accounting from the University of Florida and became a CPA in the State of Georgia.
Executive Member Barbara Gaidosh is the Founder and President of the Briana Marie Cox Foundation, a non-profit organization to assist families mourning the loss of a child. She raises and distributes more than $165,000 to families who have lost a child and provides scholarships to graduating high school seniors, who have persevered through a loss. In addition, she volunteers at Christ Fellowship, where she facilitates the Helping Other Parents Endure group for parents who have lost a child.
Founded in 1982 by senior professional and executive women in Palm Beach County, Florida, to support and advance women in business and community leadership, Executive Women of the Palm Beaches (EWPB) has impacted the lives of thousands of women. Today, EWPB’s membership includes leaders in arts & culture, banking, business, construction, education, finance, government, healthcare, law, marketing, non-profit management, publishing, real estate, utilities, and many other business endeavors in Palm Beach County.
The organization is dedicated to inspiring women personally and professionally for the betterment of business and our community. Since its inception, thousands of dollars in scholarship money and grants has been awarded to young women andorganizations.
