Terra Nova Transcription today announced that it has appointed Hannah Waldon as Director, Health Information Services.
Ms. Waldon comes to Terra Nova from LifePoint Health, as Information, Technology and Service Implementation Manager - Revenue Cycle. In this role, she managed and supported projects such as the implementation of ICD-10, transcription/dictation shared service implementations, and the implementation of an enterprise wide document management system for over 50 LifePoint hospitals.
Waldon has held positions at Bolivar Medical Center in Cleveland, Mississippi and Levi Hospital in Hot Springs, Arkansas as the Director of Health Information Management and HIPAA Privacy Officer. She is an RHIA and an active member of the National AHIMA and Arkansas HIMA. She has also served as a board member of the Arkansas HIMA association.
Hannah Waldon will be responsible for Terra Nova's health information management service line, operations and directing the ongoing quality and efficiency for all areas of the Terra Nova customer experience. Her experience and expertise will help drive advancement for Terra Nova's strategic plan for growth across the clinical documentation industry.
