The Performing Arts Center Authority 13-member volunteer board that governs the Broward Center for the Performing Arts has announced the following new officers: Chair Jack Loos; Vice Chair Barbara Jones; and Secretary Barbra Stern. Charles L. Palmer was reappointed treasurer. Immediate past chair Austin Forman also was recognized for his service.
Continuing their service on the board of the Performing Arts Center Authority in addition to Forman are John E. Abdo, Joseph C. Amaturo, Marti Huizenga, Robert B. Lochrie III, John M. Milledge, Ann Murray, George I. Platt and RamónA. Rodríguez. Members are appointed to a four-year term and represent every region of Broward County.
The Broward Center for the Performing Arts is located in the Riverwalk Arts & Entertainment District at 201 SW Fifth Avenue in Fort Lauderdale.
