Berkowitz Pollack Brant Advisors and Accountants today announced that Mark Guthrie, MSF, CISA, has joined the firm as chief financial officer. Guthrie succeeds Dave Kekich, who served as CFO for more than 20 years and will be taking a consulting role for firm clients.
Guthrie joins Berkowitz Pollack Brant from a regional accounting firm and has experience in managing CPA firm’s financial operations. He previously was finance director at Fidelity National Information Services and Spherion.

Berkowitz, JD, CPA. “As managing a professional services firm becomes more complex, we look to our next generation finance team to provide trends and guidance, much as we do for clients. Guthrie holds a master of science degree in finance from Florida International University and a bachelor’s of business administration in management and marketing from Florida Atlantic University. He is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) and is finishing his Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
