Mr. Hermes Norero P.E., President/CEO of Building Drops, Inc. is proud to announce and welcome Miguel Montoya as Director of Business Development.
Mr. Montoya is responsible for representing the organization with respect to the promotion, sales and service of all lines of business within North America, South America, and other international markets as assigned.
Mr. Montoya started working with Miami-Dade County distributor as a key player in the hurricane resistant windows and doors market. Besides managing existing accounts and developing new ones, he identified product improvements, along with introducing new products opportunities by translating customers' needs to the manufacturer. Mr. Montoya provided technical and support information to glazing and general contractors, engineers, developers and architects. Working side by side with the manufacturer gave Miguel a broad knowledge of the Miami-Dade County NOA certification process.
Mr. Montoya moved from Colombia to complete his Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Fl. After finishing his Bachelor's degree, he was accepted to graduate school and complemented his education with a Master's in Engineering Management, which he obtained in 2009.
Miguel likes to exceed customers' expectations by providing a quality service in a timely fashion. We believe that with his industry experience and education our customers will keep receiving the service level that Building Drops is well known for. In his spare time, Miguel enjoys traveling, playing soccer and racquetball.
