Mayra Mesa has joined Sabadell United Bank as Vice President and Director of Private Wealth Management in the bank’s Key Biscayne office. She will be responsible for leading the business development efforts of the office and assisting clients with their private banking, investment and trust servicing needs.

Ms. Mesa joins Sabadell United Bank as a seasoned banker with over 33 years of experience in the financial services industry, having worked at several institutions including Wells Fargo, PNC Bank, Gulf Bank, EuroBank, and Key Biscayne Bank. Prior to joining Sabadell, Ms. Mesa served as Vice President and Senior Branch Manager at SunTrust Bank in Key Biscayne, where she was responsible for leading and managing the retail sales and service function of the branch. While at SunTrust, she earned the Gold Performance Excellence Award and Top Banking Center Performance in 2015.

Ms. Mesa is involved with several organizations including the Rotary Club of Key Biscayne and the Key Biscayne Chamber of Commerce, where she is on the Board of Trustees. She has volunteered with other organizations such as The Latin American Society, Employees for the Arts Campaign, Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, and has been a past member of the Kiwanis Club of Key Biscayne and the Aventura Marketing Council.
