City National Bank (CNB), the premier commercial and private bank in Florida, announced that it has hired Juan Esterripa, former Senior Vice President of Miami Lakes-based BankUnited, to lead its Corporate Banking Division.

Esterripa joins City National Bank as Executive Vice President and Corporate Banking Executive, taking over a key division for City National Bank, which operates from Miami to Orlando.  Esterripa has 20 years of banking experience and managed a $1 billion corporate banking portfolio at BankUnited, where he worked for three years. Before joining BankUnited, he was Commercial Team Leader at Stonegate Bank and Middle Market Division Leader at Capital Bank.
