Mercantil Commercebank, one of the largest banks headquartered in Florida, has named Jack Johnson as Vice President, Branch Sales and Service Manager of The Woodlands banking center, located at 1735 Research Forest Drive, Shenandoah, TX 77380.

In his new position, Johnson is responsible for managing the Bank’s portfolio of financial products, including personal banking, commercial lending and cash management services.

Offering more than 12 years of industry experience, Johnson served as the Vice President, Branch Manager for Comerica Bank prior to joining Mercantil Commercebank. He previously worked as Vice President at Maple Bank, Highland Bank and Bremer Bank in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where he successfully managed the banks’ portfolios, business developments and clients’ services.

Johnson received a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Metropolitan State University in Saint Paul, Minnesota. He also earned professional certifications in entrepreneurship and business principals, as well as the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) license.
