Brazil’s Bauducco Foods’ Continuous Growth Leads to Manufactory Expansion

8/7/16

On August 10, Bauducco Foods, a producer and distributor of baked goods, will celebrate the grand opening of its expanded manufacturing facility located at 1705 NW 133 Ave.

The multimillion-dollar expansion, which broke ground last year, houses the company’s 70,000- square-foot bakery that will produce panettone and other specialty cakes, as well as a variety of cookies, wafers and toasts. The growing Bauducco campus in Miami Dade will also dedicate 35,000- square-feet to manufacturing bakery equipment, which will ultimately be installed in Bauducco’s future regional bakeries across the country.

“We are very excited to be expanding to fulfill the increasing demand for our products being sold at major grocery and retail stores,” said Erik Volavicius, marketing manager of Bauducco Foods. “Bauducco first introduced its products from Brazil to the U.S. market in 1978. In 2005, it incorporated in Florida. In the future, we will install two production lines in Miami, which will be the first production plant outside of Brazil.”

Bauducco’s manufactory expansion will allow the company to start manufacturing the products sold within the U.S. The company is currently importing all of the products sold in the country.

“Bauducco is a trustee member of CAMACOL, and we are very proud to share this day with them and guide them through their expansion in the U.S.,” said CAMACOL President Nelson Tarke. “Our focus and our goal is to promote our members and foster economic development and job creation.”

Over the next two years, Bauducco expects to create 200 manufacturing jobs in Miami-Dade County and will continue to seek growth opportunities within the U.S. to fulfill its vision.
