Marko Cerenko
Miami-based litigation firm Kluger, Kaplan, Silverman, Katzen & Levine announces Marko Cerenko has been named partner at the firm. Cerenko focuses his practice primarily on complex commercial litigation and real estate litigation, while additionally working on many of the firm’s high profile construction litigation as well as trusts, estates and probate cases.

Cerenko has been an associate at Kluger Kaplan for 5 years. During his time at the firm he has worked side-by-side with founding members on many complex and high profile cases, including Daxan 26 (FL), LLC v. Walgreen Co., et. al., the Fontainebleau litigation, the Rothstein related litigation, U.S. Medical Care, Inc. v. Woliner, et. al., as well as many others.
Outside of the courtroom, he is an accomplished tennis player, having been ranked as high as No.2 nationally while captaining the Duke Tennis team, and then playing professionally on the ATP tour. Cerenko is philanthropically involved with the “Put Something Back” Miami Pro Bono Legal Services, Habitat for Humanity and he serves as the Co-Chair for the Mt. Sinai Young President’s Organization. Cerenko is fluent in Croatian, Bosnian and Serbian and conversational in German.
He received his Bachelor of Arts from Duke University and his juris doctorate from the University of Miami School of Law where he served on the board of the Inter-American Law Review. In 2015, Cerenko was named one of 40 Under 40 Outstanding Lawyers of South Florida by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and was also named a Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers Magazine for 2015 and 2016.
