Abigail Beebe, Cory Brown, Roy Cacciaguida and Melissa Parker bring diverse business acumen to growing resources for cancer patients
The Cancer Alliance of Help and Hope (CAHH) is proud to welcome top county business leaders to its Board of Directors for the coming year. Each industry leader holds vast business experience and knowledge which will directly benefit the non-profit’s mission of helping cancer patients in Palm Beach County. Newly elected Board Members include Abigail Beebe, Cory Brown, Dr. Roy Cacciaguida and Melissa Parker.
Attorney Abigail Beebe is a Board Certified Specialist in Marital & Family Law. She is principal owner of The Law Office of Abigail Beebe, P.A., a West Palm Beach-based marital and family law firm she opened in July 2014. Beebe has been practicing law for nearly a decade, starting her career with the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, Inc. and later moving to a South Florida-based law firm where she focused on a wide range of complex marital and family law issues. Outside of the courtroom, Beebe currently serves on the Executive Council of The Florida Bar Family Law Section and was recently named Secretary for 2015-2016; she is also the immediate past-chair of the Family Law Section Legislation Committee. Beebe is a founding member of The Susan B. Greenberg Family Law American Inn of Court of the Palm Beaches and was invited to join the Executive Committee for 2015-2016. She serves as the Chair of the Family Law CLE Committee and formerly chaired the Unified Family Practice Committee for the Palm Beach County Bar Association. Beebe has chaired the Family Law Section of the Palm Beach County Bench Bar Conference for two years. She is also Chair of the Fourth Annual Princess and Pirate Ball, which benefits the Pat Reeves Village Shelter for The Center for Family Services of Palm Beach County – Kids Helping Kids. In 2015, Florida’s Children First (FCF) named Beebe Pro Bono Attorney of the Year.
Corey Brown has been in Financial Services since 2007. He has spent his entire career with Bank of America/ Merrill Lynch. Corey is a part of Girard, Kovarik & Associates at Merrill Lynch where he focuses on building long term advisory relationships with C Level Executives, Attorneys, and Physicians. Mr. Brown is a longtime resident of Palm Beach County and serves as a board member of the Palm Beach Flagler Rotary Club, which raises grant funds for local non-profits. He regularly participates in Chef for a Day at The Quantum House as well as packaging meals with Feeding South Florida. Mr. Brown also volunteers his service on the golf tournament committee for the Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida.
Roy Cacciaguida, M.D. is a retired Nephrologist who dedicated his life to the field of medicine. He served as an attending physician at both St. Mary’s Hospital and Good Samaritan Medical Center from 1973-2013. He was the Chief of Staff and Chairman of Medical Staff at Good Samaritan, Medical Director of the Arnold & Marie Schwartz Kidney Dialysis Center at St. Mary’s Hospital, Chief of Nephrology at St. Mary’s and operated his own private practice. He received his M.D. from University of Bologna Medical School in Italy and his A.B. from Washington Square College in N.Y. His numerous philanthropic and association memberships include service for the New York Heart Association, American Association for the Advancement of Science, New York Academy of Sciences, International Society of Nephrology, Palm Beach County Medical Society, Florida Medical Society, Florida Physicians Associations, ACP-ASIM and many others. He is also a retired Corporal with the U.S. Army.
Melissa D. Parker is the President of Melissa Parker Interiors, Inc., a luxury Interior Design Firm specializing in upscale, luxury residential and commercial interior and architectural design. Prior to founding Melissa Parker Interiors 13 years ago, Ms. Parker held key leadership positions at some of the world’s most prestigious luxury brands in a career spanning over two decades. Her non-profit stewardship has included service as a member of the Board of Directors of The Center for Family Services for five years where she was Chairman of the Events Committee and The Old Bags Luncheon. She also served as Vice Chairman of The Dance The Night Away Dinner Dance, was Founding Chairman of Shop The Day Away, and Chairman of Party at Polo. Additionally, Ms. Parker was Founding Vice Chairman of Susan G. Koman’s Perfect Pink Party Gala in Palm Beach, and Chairman of The Perfect Pink Auction. Melissa is also on the Board of Directors of Furry Friends and served for many years as a Founding Board Member of Found Care Community Health Center.
